Part number MCC-CCWRC cleans all standard single fiber connectors including SC duplex, LC duplex, FC, ST and E2000 connectors. This version will also clean the female (no guide pins) MPO connectors. Part Number MCC-CCWMT is made to clean the male (with guide pin) MPO connectors. The backing in the cleaning window is cut to accept the guide pins so the fiber array is being wiped effectively by the cleaning ribbon. The width of the cleaning ribbon varies by product. The “CCWRC” version is for female end faces and is 15mm wide. The male MT ferrule cleaning tool is more narrow the distance between the alignment pins. The cleaning ribbon width for both versions of the Cassette CleanClicker is 12.5 meters (approximately 40 feet). Either cassette will provide users with least 400 clean end faces. That number doubles with duplex connectors like LC and SC. For companies needing to clean male MT ferrule connectors cleaning between the alignment pins, choose the “CCWMT” version.
